The Microsoft Accessories Category Manager is in charge of the category P&L (Scope: B2C and B2B). Following and impacting on the business KPIs for Microsoft Accessories: Sell In, Sell Out, Sell Thru, Gross Margin, Product Mix, Attach Metrics Investments tracking: promo investments, back end rebates, marketing investments, in collaboration with the finance team Forecasting and demand planning of Microsoft Accessories to influence factory production volumes, in collaboration with the supply and operations team Anticipation of quarterly business landing, in collaboration with the Sales team Best Practices and business information sharing with EMEA and Corporate teams Participation in quarterly business reviews and meetings with partners and retailers Promotions planning aligned with partners needs, market key beats and internal guidelines Market intelligence centralization (marketshare, product portfolio, consumer trends) The Microsoft Accessories Category Manager is also the product marketing manager of this category. Managing the product samples to be loaned to partners, end consumers to generate reviews, or for PR purposes In charge of product launches and GTM strategy: internal communications towards Sales and Channel Marketing teams, external communications towards retailers and partners Product information centralization and sharing: tech specs, marketing content, fact sheets, logistical information Keeping an eye on instore and online execution: quality and accuracy of product related content, in collaboration with the Channel Marketing team Giving feedback on product performance, customer and consumer feedback, helping product development teams create future products
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or related experience. Experience in Consumer Electronics/IT ecosystem with a focus on devices sales or category management across consumer and B2B segments Understanding of consumer and B2B sales channels, as well as the retail landscape and digital marketplace Experience in driving mid to long-term sustainable sales growth with partners Experience in translating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) into actionable plans to accelerate or capitalize on growth opportunities. Advanced Excel / PowerBI skills Self-starter with a bias for action Entrepreneurial mindset and innovative thinking to identifying and executing business opportunities Ability to analyze sales data, draw relevant conclusions, develop accurate business plans and forecasts, and drive execution Understanding of budget, profit & loss, margin, investment, and operating expense accountability Ability to influence multiple stakeholder groups and connect with diverse audiences A character that exemplifies Microsoft values including integrity, honesty, openness, personal excellence, constructive self-criticism, and mutual respect Fluency in German and English (write/read/speak)
