
Press and public relations officer (m/f/d) part-time (19.5 to 25 hours/week)
We are an interdisciplinary institute for basic research at the interface of physics, chemistry and biology. In addition to our headquarters in Heidelberg, departments are currently being established on the education campus in Heilbronn. The second location will enable us to grow considerably and dedicate ourselves to new fields of research. In order to do justice to this development in terms of communication, we are expanding our press and public relations work. We are creating a new part-time position to strengthen the team management:

Public Relations Officer (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS
- Media relations: target group-oriented preparation and publication of scientific and technical content, organization of press events
- Support of the intranet: maintenance and expansion of content, creation of new image and text content, implementation of the migration of the intranet to a new M365 platform
- public relations: Assisting with the organization and implementation of events (e.g. Girls’ Day), planning and supervising guided tours and visits to the institute
- Editorial and organizational support for social media communication and website maintenance
- Collaboration on other internal and external communication projects (e.g. yearbook, employer branding measures)
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Successfully completed studies in natural or communication sciences or a comparable course of study
- At least three years of professional experience in press and public relations work
- Experience in internal and external communication and event management
- Ability to familiarize yourself with complex issues and diverse topics
- Very good communication skills in German and English
- Experience in using design software such as InDesign is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team, initiative and a sense of responsibility
